I am ALWAYS raving about vintage and indie clothing. But always wishing that I could find simple dresses to fancy up or fancy down; and recently, I've been scouting out the stores on the web that have old-style couture at a reasonable price. I stumbled upon this a blog and business run my one woman. If you like dressing vintage, I suggest you check out
Vanilla and Lace. Hand-made vintage-inspired dresses are up for sale. I haven't bought one yet, but I certainly plan to!
Also, there are some great commercial web stores out there, too. One of my favorites is
ModCloth. I love Zooey Deschanel's style, and as it turns out, that she actually shops here! They have gorgeous pieces, but my favorite has to be their mini dresses. They have a wide variety in all different styles and indie-retro patterns. And the most beautiful swim-suits, and practically everything else. Just lovely! You must check it out (hear me raving?).

Another great one (not as good as ModCloth, in my opinion) is Urbanog. But if you're going to go "urban" online shopping, make a right turn and get yourself to
Urban Outfitters. They have a little of everything. They have ALL clothing essentials, in all types of styles. Just not alot of vintage-inspired apparel. If you're more of a hipster, this is the site for you. Many celebrities shop at this online store. One being Hayley Williams.
